The WRÅD brand was born after the discovery that fashion is one of the most polluting factors in our world, asking itself some questions such as: why does the industry have such a negative impact? Why do few people know this? And most importantly ... what can we do about it? The co-founders Matteo, Victor and Silvia left work in fashion in 2015 and launched WRÅD, launched and started thanks to Instagram, the success was immediate, for the passion to combine high fashion with the love for our planet. Using exclusively eco-friendly products such as organic cotton, hemp, natural beeswax and recycled graphite, they are able to create exclusive and one-of-a-kind garments. But why this choice? About 40 million people are employed in the fashion industry, 85% of whom are women. Most of the production takes place in countries where the average wage for clothing workers is only $ 30-32 / month and economic political conditions encourage a system that is highly detrimental to the lives of workers and their families. WRÅD's goal is that fashion is free for everyone.
